Urdur

Links/Back

Urdur, Lord of Mysteries, second-born of the Fairies, keeps his home in the north, where the Ice Floes meets the mouth of the Gwyrglann, which widens to the east into Loch Corraigh where the greatest of the giants sleeps. On the west, he is bordered by the Wandering River, the Camboglais, which leads into Aldhairen. To the south is Cadwyr, to the east is Maelgwenn. The Green Mountains lie to the south-east of his lands, where the Wolf King prowls.

Many Hydoemi, water elementals, make their home in the Gwyrglann, Loch Corraigh or the Ice Floes - including the children of Ydulhain, Lord of Waterfalls.

The Shadowless once housed the Dusk, when the Titans still roamed the earth. Now the Titans have fallen, and the realm of men are springing up. To the south east, very near the Shadowless is Connlach Manor, which herds the golden sheep, guarded by Guleesh, a descendant of the demon dogs of Cadoc.

The Baronets of Udine also reside to the south of Urdur. Once a fiercesome clan battling the Dark Wood in the time of the Wof King and the Civil Wars, the house has lost much of its purity and influence, becoming less fearsome than its herald, the boar, and more and more debauched.

Ulvin Manor also lies just within Urdur's realm, at the very fringe of the Green Mountains, at the edge of the Gwyrglann. Loosely related to the house of Udine, Ulvin Manor frequently relies on their more powerful relatives to help them pay their debts.
