![]() At the very southern tip of the Twelve Kingdoms, the dread-lovely Fairy Malinka makes her home in fallen Night's abandoned, partly-subterranean castle that overlooks the Perilous Strait and the Deadman's Fall. To the west, her land is bordered by the Sorrowing River that terminates in the Shrouded Lake to the north where Malinka's land meets Goewinn's. To the east is the Coral Reef and the Dobhain channel, named after the Lords of that same name. Dotting the rolling hills of Malinka's land are the entrances to the kingdom of the Dwarves, who mine the white Andamariana marble, and the black Krezgna marble, which built Night's castle. When that Titan fell, the Dwarves sealed off the entrances to their realm, only accessable to those who know where to seek them. Best known of the Dwarves is Brigglekin who freed the Moon from her banishment and set her once again upon the sky-paths. A few of that race still serve Malinka, as well as misshapen humanoid creatures she has loosed from the Dark Woods.

The Stewards of Malinka abandoned their false mistress when she cursed her godson, Gavron and her own sister, Rhianna out of jealousy. Although it grieved the hearts of the sons of Dobhain - for they had served Night himself, and still bear his arms - the household changed their allegiance to Rhianna and became Stewards of her Lighthouse during her banishment to the Dark Wood.
