Illusive Reality by Patrick Roos

And here we come to a lesser known description of life.
It is, perhaps, one of the best pieces of illusory reality.
Notice light within shadows; chaos shifting,
Churning – Oh, the wonderful joy of not knowing
What is where, or when is why. Yet – Is it joy you
Feel, or is it perhaps a euphoric confusion?
There is no color. Only black and white and grey
– plenty of Grey, for
Is that not how things are? You see this as that;
Up is down, in is out – or is up in and down out?
Focus until all is one and all is clear, then continue
To the next piece of life and begin again.
True. You will focus until you return to dust,
And still the mass confusion will remain.
Others will try to focus and claim they have the answer;
However, they too shall pass to dust and the illusion
Will remain, standing,
Alone.
