Tower of Ivory

It’s a lord! It’s a knave! It’s…

That’s right, lords and ladies, get ye to the ramparts and look to the air, because the Fly-By-Knights are passing. Has your faithful old steed let you down at last? Is that quest of a year and a day nearly up, with you still six months from home? Despair not, for we fly to your aid!

You see here Sir Theseus of Athens, with two of our more classic models, the fabulous Persian Aero-Rug (with easy front-hall storage) and the Pegasus Deluxe (golden bridle not included). Over here, for the up-and-coming young sir, the traditional gets a new spin in the flashy Phaeton, while for the more sophisticated we present to you the Nazgul Surpreme (black finish mandatory; no connection with Ford Motor Company or fords of any other sort).

Now, this is not to say we’re all about speed and charger-power. Fly-By-Knights are as concerned as you are for the ecosystem of your little fief. For the environmentally conscious, we are proud to introduce the Green Knight’s Steed, by Gawain – gentle enough not to harm that moldering little chapel in the valley, with climate-controlled coat for safe operation in the most wintry weathers. And of course all Fly-By-Knights steeds come equipped with the most modern safety features, including anti-lock blinders (since we all know how devastating fair locks can be) and air bags that will inflate in the event of high-speed collisions with the ground or the point of a lance.

If that weren’t enough, Fly-By-Knights now offers hands-on instruction in the fine art of driving a steed. For a minimal fee Sir Lands-a-Lot, the foremost knight in the land, will undertake to train even the rudest squire in the direction, care and maintenance of our high-quality steeds. Should you not be completely satisfied, he will gladly meet you on the field of honor, and refund the young man’s money, time and injured pride should your claim be proven by victory.

But, you ask, where can I find these wonderful bargains? Fear not: Fly-By-Knights are here today, gone tomorrow, which means the day after next week they’ll be coming to a castle near you. Contact Merlin/Lake Communications for schedules, or to place your order direct call us at 1-800-4ASTEED. Operators and stable boys are standing by.
