    It's a good thing that repeating a production is so much easier than starting it from scratch, because the 2007 production faced the following dilemmas:

  • We had two weeks in which to rehearse
  • Joe Manzella (Jesus) fell seriously ill and couldn't come to school (or rehearsal) - breaking his record of perfect attendance since 6th grade!
  • Miss Snyder fell seriously ill the day of dress rehearsal. She missed school, but pulled her fainting way to dress in order to sing.
  • And, just when she recovered, Mama Snyder (the producer) fell seriously ill the day of show, leaving the videography in the hands of her trusted associates!

    Phew! Fortunately, the Passion went off even more smoothly than years past. And of all the things we learned, we learned that a) latex wounds don't look as good as wounds that are drawn on the body using eyeshadow, base and fake blood and b) latex doesn't remove hair from your chest. Oh, and it is possible to let Chris' hair grow long and still spike it. If one has the patience. Which Meaghan did.
